2026 Get Up! Application

PROGRAM DATES
September 12th - December 12th, 2026

• Saturdays, 10am - 3:00pm (all except 11/28) at GFE

• Six Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 8:30pm. These will be a combination of in-person and online sessions.

COURSE FEE
A sliding-scale: $450-$600*

We offer a sliding-scale course fee structure to make Get Up! more equitable, as we recognize that there is a vast wealth disparity in the Bay Area. Those who can pay more enable others to participate in Get Up! who otherwise could not. Many employers offer professional development funds. Please check with your employer to see if you qualify for this.

Conducting Get Up! costs approximately $2,000 per student (staff time, guest instructors, supplies, etc.). We are able to subsidize Get Up! significantly through grant sponsorship.

*If a course fee between $450-$600 is cost-prohibitive for you, we have several spots available for $200. If you’d like to be considered for one of these spots, share more at the bottom of the application.
