Garden for the Environment is the ideal place for a team offsite experience. We tend a one-half acre oasis where people can connect to the natural world right here in the city. As teachers, we believe gardening should be educational, meaningful and fun.

A group workday program at Garden for the Environment will allow your company or team to get their hands dirty composting, pruning, planting, and harvesting in our garden. And all along, you'll be learning sustainable gardening skills that you can take with you.

  • $5,000 covers the basics, sponsors a youth trip + sponsors our other programs. As a thank you, we'll give your company or team a shoutout in our monthly newsletter and feature you as a garden sponsor on our website!

  • $2,500 covers the basics + sponsors a youth field trip for a classroom in need.

  • $1,000 covers the basics (staff educators, garden use, and supplies).

Workday fees support our garden staff, allow your group full use of our space, and help to support our free and low-cost educational programs like youth field trips, workshops, and harvest box donations.

HUGE thanks to you for the warm welcome and providing such an engaging educational experience. Everyone walked away so inspired and impressed with your program. That was without doubt one of the best corp group volunteer experiences we’ve ever had.

There’s something about gardening that makes all the work worthwhile. In a city full of hard edges and congestion, in a world where action increasingly takes place on a flat screen, the garden offers a three-dimensional experience.
