Every weekend of the year our fantastic volunteers can be found in the Garden. From pruning to weeding to planting to harvesting, our volunteers play a huge role in maintaining the garden. Volunteering at the GFE is a fun chance to get your hands dirty, learn gardening skills and socialize with those who share a love for gardening.

You can volunteer at the GFE on Wednesdays and Saturdays. No pre-registration is required, just show up ready to work. We recommend dressing in layers as temperatures in the garden can swing from bone chilling cold to pretty darn warm! Water and snacks are often a good idea.
