GFE SPRING 2010 INTERNSHIPS
SPRINGTIME INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!
Whether you have some backyard gardening experience, just starting your career in gardening or are interested in changing careers to gardening, this is a great chance to build your resume and gain hands-on skills working with youth in gardens.
2010 marks our 12th year hosting youth in the garden through the generous support of SF Environment and more recently, the SF Public Utilities Commission.
Parallel to the learning experience afforded to our students is the learning experience gained by GFE youth teacher interns. These interns participate in teaching experiential education in the outdoor classroom for the spring season. As we guide youth through the garden, we learn beside them as educators and gardeners.
